"BBC, recipient of USAID funding and chronic China basher"... but

"Jews, a minuscule

part of UK population, have so many members of their community in positions of power & influence in the BBC, allegedly committed to journalistic impartiality😅, is extremely concerning"

Excellent summary of Chinese progress. It is probably why emperor Musk (and its clownish president) is suing for peace with Putin: trying to use Russian elites traditionnal fear/jealousy of China. Their crazy hope could be to cut China from Russia's cheap energy and natursl ressources. Speaks volume regarding US "elites" despair.

China has undoubtedly made tremendous progress on the technology front. I hope to see similarly exponential progress internationalising China’s cultural economy in media, movies, tourism etc.

But I do love your summary and analysis. Some Americans, especially the government choose to believe a different narrative to their own detriment.

I travelled to China with my youth orchestra in 2000 then did multiple business trips in the 2010s. The mood in 2000 was that we were entering a decade of mutual cooperation and respect. It's a shame that things have shifted so far from then.

I wrote an article about my ~15 year career in USA engineering and the accompanying political realities. Perhaps it will give you further perspective on how things have become so bad in the USA.

I have heard that it is public knowledge in China that the moon landings were faked. Is this true?

It’s not dark side of the moon. It’s the far side of the moon. Because it’s not always dark.

I lived in the US more than 20 years ago. And I have many American friends. It is a different place now. The people are the same but the country is not - it has changed for the worse. I don't have a problem with the American people, except the bigots and the stupid. But I dislike all bigots and stupid people whereever they originate. Frankly, I despise your government which has no redeeming quality in my view. The world is a much better place if the US government didn't exist. And I know the Americans can take care of themselves.
