that's exactly right. The imperialist US regime has sunk so low to use labels and myth to tell their narrative these days. Completely devoid of facts or logic. Same thing with the "unprovoked" Russian invasion and "justified" Israeli genocide. This is the kind of bs only a low information indoctrinated and enslaved population can swallow. This is the dytopia in Orwell's 1984.

Not to mention the ADL defending Musk's Nazi salute.

that's why I differentiate the US regime from the American people, who are the foremost victims of the regime. Empires always rot from within.

I have the same exact thoughts. That's why I explored the issue of jewish/zionist influence over US economics and politics in several stack essays.

The zionist is the original globalist who want global domination and erase national identity - except for the Jews themselves who have rejected integration for 2000 years.

The US regime is merely a tool for the zionist global agenda. Since the Indians are the most fervant supporters of Israel outside the west in its shared hatred of Muslims, China and Russia are the last line of defence.

Cat, thanks for the comments. I am a big fan of Ron Unz and have read the book. I am actually on Unz Review starting this year by Ron's kind invitation. I have lots of thoughts about PNAC and 911, having read 3 dozen books on the subject by David Griffin, James Fetzer, Chris Bollyn, Judy Wood, and more. I have no doubt the whole thing was the same as the Nazi Reichstag fire and the zionist jews are the primary beneficiary - therefore most likely culprit enabled and supported by the PNAC guys who are mostly jews and zionists as well. the US took a wrong turn after the deep state (possibly with mossad) blew off JFK's head and it is going farther and farther off course. It will fall and the parasite will move on to another host, though the trick is hard to pull off one more time.

the question to ask is so what? whichever system delivers for its people is better than a theoretical superior one that doesn't function. rather than comparing China and US, you can compare China and India, two large and poor countries with same starting point with new regimes from the late 1940s. who has delivered?

thanks for referring. the israelis have been extensively involved in US covert illegal activities worldwide including Africa, the middle east and Latin America. it supported the apartheid south African regime and trained and equipped many death squads, military dictators, and narco terrorists from Argentina to Chile to El Salvadore and many others. you can fill bookshelves with their exploits. the israelis are often the visible villains for their yankee masters who find some activities too distasteful even for them and outsource to the bad guys who have no shame whatsoever. then they turn around and use the Americans as an overt tool for their illegal aims such as creating a greater Israel. the relationship is vile, incestous and a cancer to humanity.

most of the readers of my essays are sophisticated people who probably already share many of my views. The essay is a simple compilation of facts to illustrate the hypocracy and stupidity of the US regime ideologues to use such nonsensical propaganda to mobilize its population. Any half sentient person could see through them. I wonder what it says about the intelligence of the audience for such low brow propaganda. I don't defend the CCP's mistakes and shortcomings - all governments make mistakes and commit crimes. But there should be some honesty even with your adversaries. Man up to what you are doing instead of hiding behind blatant lies. It's unbecoming for "the greatest country in the history of the world".

I agree. Still the dishonesty is so transparent as to be laughable. Just like JFK was assasinated by a lone gunman and 911 was done by 19 Arabs.

good point. I was quoting Wikipedia on communism line by line which also has overlooked this point.

that said, one wonders what impact one party or two party or multi party systems have on the effectiveness of governance. Empirical data seem contrary to conventional wisdom.

Singapore and Japan are de facto one party states but both govern more effectively than most two/multi party states. They seem to be more long term thinking.

most multi party states seem to suffer from polarization and deadlocks, despite theoretical advantages.

the two parties in the US are often called the Uniparry as they differ little in the most substantative economic and foreign policy issues.

regardless, China follows the Deng Xiaoping school of political theory of "black cat or white cat, the good cat is the one which catches the mouse".

Deng famously hated dogma.

Americans are waking up to the fact that THEY are on watch lists and there communications are being monitored. THEY can see the government overreach with something as simple as TikTok. There will be revolts on a mass scale coming soon. The distractions that worked previously will not work when the money has been inflated to be worthless for the majority of people.

Hua, I'm a recent subscriber having learned of you from Ron Unz. I'm very impressed with your expansive thinking and strong writing.

In your long list of the international crimes by the US you mentioned the Arbanz coup in Guatemala back in the 50s. I thought you might also be interested in a more recent set of events in Latin America involving the entry of Israeli arms and military into the region as a proxy at times for America and for its own exploitative benefits. The Guatemala coup in 1982 by Gen. Rios Montt and his subsequent genocide against the nation's rural population was backed by Israeli intelligence and military which had over 300 advisors on the ground. This level of US/Israel interference continues today, including in Mexico.

Here's a Montt coup/Israel story:

Here's a broader review in Israel military expansion in Latin America.

Hua Bin, your analysis is superb! So true. The anti-CCP propaganda is just a smokescreen for the US to stay #1. That's what the Project for a New America (PNAC) was all about during 9/11 and still is today -- albeit with name-changed organizations and ever-evolving euphemisms.

People would do well to understand the demographic who put forth and controlled America's PNAC pivot. It's of a piece with the Nazi strawman. For some excellent revisionist historical analysis as to who keeps the Nazi bogeyman front and center and why, I highly recommend Ron Unz's collection of articles focused on Jews, Nazis, and Israel.

I discovered you through The Unz Review, and so very much appreciate your strong counternarrative to the ubiquitous "Chi-com!, Chi-com!, Chi-com!" hysteria.

I had long feared China would lose itself to the Western FinTech parasites that have swarmed China in the last decades as the leadership sought to move beyond being the world's factory slave labor nation. Post October 7, however, when the mask of genocidal savagery glaringly came off, it seems clear China connected with its inner Tao/Confucian self and likewise registered the abhorrence universally felt worldwide -- and thereby firmly acknowledged to itself to stay vigilant.

As the Sassoon-controlled Opium Wars taught China, engagement with World Jewry is fraught with threats not just to China's ancient moral code, but to its very existence as a sovereign nation.

Excellent article! I am glad that I found it while taking a break from my Mandarin studies.

My fellow US citizens get mad at me for admiring the Chinese civilization (they also get mad at me for admiring Japanese stories and engineering), but I judge based on outcomes. By "fruits" if you will.

My fellow citizens say, "but we wuz Romans and sheeit". Yes. And Rome was a militarily powerful for a few centuries, but I'm well read enough in ancient literature to know that Rome's culture was but a poor imitation of the Greeks'. Just compare The Aeneid, written for political purposes, to the story or copied: The Odyssey.

Like Rome that lasted a few centuries, my own country of 250 years is militarily powerful, but will continue to destroy itself due to it's shallow culture. China, I suspect, will continue on.

I liked both Aneid and the Odyssey and admire the western classics a lot:) Though compared with classic Chinese mythology, western ones tend to be quite violent. There is a militarist culture in much of Roman Europe - after all, colonialism and world wars were their legacies. I respect the US for its technological innovations and the people are generally very nice on a person to person level. Unfortunately too many are brainwashed and indoctrinated by your dishonest media and corrupt education system. Many cannot think clearly or reason in a logical fashion. To be honest, they are very low information despite being bombarded by 24 hour news channels. It's very sad and very different from the country I visited and lived in 1999-2000. Hopefully people like you will turn the country around but I doubt anything less than a revolution will do the job.

Hua, since you're knowledgeable of Western classics, I would be very interested in an article comparing/contrasting the foundation of Chinese vs Western thought. Insights into what's going on today are good, but they are a mere product of differences in philosophical foundations.

A field full of thorns cannot be weeded--it must be burnt to be fruitful again. I already wrecked my executive career trying to help my fellow Americans, but it was futile. I learned that lesson, and now just keep my gate locked.

Though I turned off my TV 30+ years ago and instead read Western classics, I have but a veneer of understanding of Confucianism and societies founded on that tradition. I don't know, but perhaps Confucianism is superior and that is why China has been able to pull itself out of the century of humiliation and why Asians as a whole have higher IQs than the West, which was founded on the Bible and to a lesser degree Plato, Aristotle, Milton, Kant...?

Any insights from someone like yourself that knows both cultures would be greatly appreciated.

cannot agree more. the only valid view of a political system is the view of the governed. each nation should leave each other alone to find their own way. preaching about one's superiority and universalism is moronic.
